Eric Christen is a European multi-disciplined designer with over 20 years international experience in the UK, USA, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Cyprus. He has won a Royal Society of Arts award for lighting concepts, a Capital Radio (London) award for futuristic ideas and received a citation for furniture design from  Progressive Architecture magazine.

He has held major design positions such as Design Detailer for the prestigious John Paul Getty Residence in San Francisco, Chief Designer for Tansei Urban Design Complex in Tokyo, where he provided exciting retail concepts for Yamaha and the Mio Department Store, Head Furniture Designer for an exclusive house in Rihyad and finally he was Chief Concept Designer for the Dixons Retail Group where he provided a broad range of ideas for all the shop brands including Currys at Croydon - the biggest electronics retailer in Europe at the time.

From 1988 to 1994 he ran his own furniture and interior design consultancy in San Francisco. Other projects of interest  included the interior of the exclusive Ho Residence in Hillsborough and the San Jose Technology Museum.
